I rushed out of the house with my daughter on my hip,Yep! you guessed right, I have a two year old daughter Ellie,she is my life. She is a very beautiful gift from God. One may say am crazy for saying that considering events that led to her birth,but still,she is a blessing and I love her very much.

After dropping her at the creche, I run like a madwoman, I run towards my locker and take out the books that needed for the first lesson, I was five minutes late. I run through the hallway and turning around the corner I collided with someone sending my books flying out of my hands to the floor.

"I am so sorry I run into you." I said hurriedly picking up my books from the floor without looking up at the person,. I stood up after picking them all up, looking at him a bit and murmuring sorry and ran into the classroom.

"Nice of you showing up Ms Johnson." he said looking back into his book.

"Am sorry sir." I sat down breathing heavily.

Towards the end of the class,Blake,the guy that I ran into marched into the class like he owned the whole school and as if the teacher was not there and the annoying giggles from every girl trying to make him notice them,I looked at him and he was already looking at me like he was about to tell me that he got a call from God,but I ignored it,.

Lunch time came and I took my food and went to sit by myself far away from everybody. I am not an antisocial but I don't like small talks,I don't have friends and I enjoy being alone. I enjoy eating alone,no questions asked.

I was almost done eating when someone sat down next to me,I ignored them but I could feel their eyes on me. I guess me ignoring them was not appreciated because he stood up and leaned against the tree in front of me.

"Are you ignoring me?" with his hands in the pockets of his trouser and a frown on his face,he asked.

"Is there a reason why I could be ignoring you?" I fired back. I stood up to leave but stopped when he walked closer to me.

"I don't like being ignored." he said hovering over me, and he was like 6'8, I was only 5'7 so he was really tall.

"How sad." I said faking a sad face,turning to leave but he grabbed me by my arm.

"Am not done talking to you." this guy is trying to get on my nerves and its frustrating.

"And I think I am done talking,so let go of my arm." I said struggling against his strong hold and trying so much not to loose my temper.

Turning me around to face him then pulling me even closer to him, leaving no space between us,he crushed his lips against mine.

Instead of loosing my temper,the memories of being kissed forcefully came rushing into my head. I stood glued to the ground,tears started falling down my cheeks,my heart hummered loudly in my chest, and I was shivering uncontrollably.

"Blake," someone shouted out his name and as if he was in some kind of a spell,he pulled himself away from me but I couldn't care any less, still breathing hard I took off running.

I ran until I found myself at the gate of the creche where Ellie is. I picked her up and went to the park.

I managed to calm myself down and played with Ellie until it was time to take her back home and prepare to go to my part time job. Leaving her with Mrs Williams,my old lady friend who helped me out when I first got here, and it's been over two years now and she still doesn't want me to go and look for a place to stay alone with my daughter.

I got to work earlier than normal and started my work. Working as a waitress is very challenging, sometimes you serve nice people that tip well but other times you get jerks who are full of themselves, but I still enjoy working here.

My shift was almost over when I was givin one last table,I was in so much hurry wanting to be done for the day that I didn't get to see who was on that table,not that it would make a difference if I saw them first. I picked the menus and approached them .

"My name is Agnes and I will be serving you tonight.here are the menus,can I get yo........." I stopped mid sentence when I saw Blake sitting there with his friends,all looking at me instead of looking at the menus. Closing my eyes lightly I took a deep breath to relax.

"Can I get you anything to drink." I said calmly,I didn't look at them but I could still feel their eyes on me.

"Can we have cokes please?and that will be all, thanks."A beautiful girl answered politely, I think her name is Ellison.

"Coming right up ma'am." I hurried off and in no time at all, I came back with them.

"Here you go, enjoy." I turned to leave but.,..

" Aggie,do you mind me calling you that.?"asked Ellison.

" No problem ma'am, you can....."

"Oh no! Please say call me Ellie, everyone calls me that." she said cutting me off.

"okay Ellie, enjoy your drinks." I smiled politely at her ignoring others who were with her, .

"Can I talk to you,privately please.?" she asked smiling back at me.

"Am almost done here, please give me five minutes to change." I said leaving,I kept wondering what she wanted to talk about,she is one of the popular students and a friend of Blake.

I found Ellison alone waiting for me outside.

" Hi!"

"hi! I hope I didn't take long?" it came out more as a question.

"No no. you didn't." she kind of looked nervous and that made me nervous too.

"You look nervous,is everything ok?" I asked breaking the silence as we walked towards her car.

"If you don't mind, I can drop you off, and it's already very late." she asked.

" I don't want to be a bother,but thanks anyway." as if she didn't hear what I had just said,she pulled me towards it and opened the door shoving me inside.

"Believe me you are not,it's only a pleasure."she said getting in and starting it and pulling out of the driveway.

"Am sure you didn't go through all the trouble of driving me home just to look and smile at me until we get there, so what's up?." she has been stealing glances at me and smiling without any reason at all.

"That's true, but can I park the car first,we are here." she said parking the car in front of my house, is she some kind of a stalker? how did she know where I stay?.

"I didn't give you the address,so how did you know where I stay?" I asked looking at her and saw her biting her lower lip and forcing a laughter.

"I uh........ I saw you .,.....yes...... I saw you leaving earlier going to the restaurant. yes." she stuttered, obviously lying but because I wanted to get whatever this talk was about over,I left it alone but let her know that I knew she was lying.

"you are lying but ok." she looked shocked but recovered from it faster than it came.

"Ok so, I really like you and wanted to asked if you mind being my friend?" she asked almost pleading.

" I like you too Ellie but am sorry I can't be friends, I don't like having to explain myself to anyone, I don't enjoy talking non stop or going out or do whatever girls do.but we can do school work together. am sorry that's all I can be." I said quietly .

" It's ok I understand,"she said a bit disappointed but added with a huge smile and a very tight hug if I may add,. "but it's better than nothing. thank you."

"If you don't let go of me right now, believe me am gonna be squashed." I said fake choking.

"oh sorry sorry."she apologized and I opened the door to leave saying goodbye to her.

I got in the house and Mrs Williams was already in bed and Ellie was asleep on my bed, I freshened up a bit and when my body hit the mattress,I was out like a light but not before hearing the howls in a distant.
