CHAPTER FOURTEEN
Rene tried to open his eyes, but it was as if someone glued them shut to impede the drum band that was pounding away in his head from leaving. Slowly, Rene tried opening them once more.
A tiny slit began to form and bright light had him groaning then tightly closing them once more.
