They entered a small clearing, and Candace asked the black wolf to stop. In the middle stood an enormous tree. Not five men could wrap their arms around it. Candace slid off the wolf and walked to the tree. She gently placed her hand on the tree and immediately her hand disappeared into it.
She turned to the wolf. “Wait here”.
The wolf tilted its head to the side in confusion, then sat down.
Candace smiled at that. She stepped further into the tree, going inside. Instantly, she felt a part of the tree. She felt the strength it held and the dominion it had over the rest of the forest. This tree was the first nymph tree. It was where her ancestors became the Nymph Queen and their spirit and wisdom ran within the rings. She felt the generations of presence in the tree.
