Chapter 3: For the Sake of their Beloved Kingdom

While the three siblings enjoyed their time together, one of the Royal Guards came to disturb their time. "Your Royal Highnesses, forgive me for disturbing your time, but His Majesty, the King, is expecting the three of you to see him."

The guard is somewhat nervous facing the Crown Princess. The princess herself is cold as ice. She is someone no one should anger in the first place. And she is also very unapproachable. Even men her father partner her up with always give up right away because they are so scared of what the princess might do to them. Some even nicknamed her an Untouchable Princess.

"You two didn't tell me that the Royal Guards already knew where my hiding place is." Celena calmly said to the twins. She firmly told her siblings not to tell anyone about her hiding place, including their father.

This is the place where she can freely express her true self. Free from her duty as the Crown Princess. Ever since she has been crowned, she never had the time for herself. This place has always been her haven, but now that one of the Royals Guards already knows this place, she can never go back here if she will worry that the Guards will show up anytime.

The twins felt that they had been accused of something they did not know. "Big sis! We didn't know that this Guard followed us here! Please! Don't get angry at us!" Clifford firmly defended himself and his sister. They swam their way here discreetly. They also made sure that no one was following them. So how is it possible for this Guard to know where they are?

"Clifford, have you forgotten that this guard over here is not an ordinary guard? This guard is one of the special forces of our beloved Kingdom. He can follow you two without getting himself caught by you two. But then again, I am sure that one of our teachers taught you two to be keen on your surroundings." That tone in Celena's voice is cold and firm.

This guard may be a member of the special forces, but that doesn't mean that her siblings can't go against him and won't ever win. Each individual in the Royal family has unique magical powers, and each is very strong.

If Clifford or Nerida cannot detect the Royal Guard following them, they must be slacking off in their training, which is a huge problem.

"It seems like you two have been slacking on your training." It would have been fine if she is not leaving, but unfortunately, she is going. How can she leave without worry if her siblings are not strong enough to protect their people and themselves?

No matter how strong their King is, there is no guarantee that they will win every single time. That is why their father is preparing them for whatever is coming.

"Honestly, I wouldn't say that we are slacking in our training. We are busy doing our duties as Royalties for the sake of our beloved Kingdom," Nerida replied confidently. What she said is half of the truth, she and her brother are slacking on their training, but instead of doing what they are supposed to do, she and her brother are doing their duties as the Prince and Princess of their Kingdom—helping the needs of their people.

"What you guys do as the Prince and Princess of this Kingdom is not wrong. However, you two have duties to train your body for the sake of our Kingdom too. You know very well why everyone in our family pushes you two to train." The twins are the only family member who always runs away whenever it's time for their training. And it's still the first Prince who can bring back the twins.

Sometimes it is also the first Prince who supervises the twins' training. Whenever he does that, Celena can only pity the twins. Their older brother always gives harsh training. That's the more reason why Celena never disobey her brother when it comes to training time.

The twins were unable to say a word to Celena, so they only nodded at her words. Their big sister is right. If they want to do more for the sake of their Kingdom and its people, they have to be stronger than what they are now.

"Now that this discussion is over let's go head back and see our beloved father."
