Kess made it a point not to think about the Jedi's remark. She was growing tired of trying to guess what the mighty magician was up to and tried to make herself decide that she didn't care. What she did care about was the stupid CV-52 filter. It took two hours to pull the filter from the auxiliary pumps underneath the deck of the main bay. It took another hour and a half to take it apart, clean it out, fix it, and put it back together.
