All I could care about right now was food. My tummy seemed to cut into two, I sighed to myself when I realized that I literally ran from Avery's former pack due to a certain someone and I did that without eating anything. Maybe that was why I wanted to die in a food heaven right then.
"Hello?" I called out softly when I heard the clanging of spoon as I walked into the kitchen. For some reason, my eyes softened when I saw my husband cooking quietly in there, I felt like I was some cheating wife at that moment. He turned to me and gave a cute smile.
"Hey honey. How was your stay?" He asked innocently and I gave him a weird smile. He also didn't hear or know that his best friend's Alpha position was taken from him.
