"For somebody who hates me, this is a lovely surprise" I said as Caleb pushed past me into the house I was staying in with Aiden the moment I open the door.
It'd been some hours since they'd gone and unfortunately, neither of them had taken phones because Aiden had quoted "In the event that we fail, they will trace us back to you."
I knew he meant if Ally was caught because not bragging, but since the time he'd been captured after his family's murder, Aiden had become a living wraith.
A wraith that started to form flesh after Ally walked into his life.
I sipped from my glass of wine, taking my seat on the large couch in the living room as I watched Caleb carry out his pacing exercise.
"What if something happens to her?" He said, intentionally omitting Aide
