  Ally’s POV   Ian gave me what would have been a heart stopping smile if my heart wasn't already with someone else and my eyes on the woman standing by the door.   I didn't hear his hushed goodbye and promise of seeing me again. I wasn't interested. Not when Renee was giving me what she thought was an apologetic smile.   "Does the witch order know that you've aligned yourself to the dark side?" I bit out.   "There is no dark side, Allyson."   "Lay it all on me, Renee. I'm listening. Don't leave anything out."   "What do you want to know?"   "When you came to 'visit', you knew who I was, didn't you?"   "I did."   "How about the text that you deciphered? I'm guessing that wasn't the first time you were seeing it either."   "It wasn't."   "Why are you doing all of this? What for?
