  Aiden’s POV   Dorothy wasn't taking any chances where I was concerned. After her minions had taken Allyson away, she'd started crying and begged me to forgive and forget. To remember that she'd saved my life that day because she loved and didn't want to lose me. I'd listened to every word, refraining from uttering a vulgar reply that would only get Allyson hurt.   Because now she'd found a way to buy my complacence. She'd tried to kiss me after her emotional breakdown and I'd let her, my body as taut as a primed guitar string. She'd gotten the message that even drugged, I was never ever going down that road with her. I'd never been so grateful for the fact that their lives were linked when she spat out Allyson's name like she was the person behind all of her problems in the world.   T
