Marina's POV
Varce had to go on a business trip, so he was going to be away for a week. It's been two days since he left alone, and Boris was in charge.
Now that Varce was away, it felt like I could finally think. All I could breathe for the past one month was him and now, I knew I had to start looking for clues.
Why did he kill my mom? If it wasn't him directly, why did he orchestrate or join in? How could he?
I somehow crept into his office, an office I had only been into a couple of times before.
Boris actually asked me to get him something earlier. I don't know if it's just me, but he has been acting really strange towards me, especially since Varce left. I noticed he didn't really approve of me after that day he confronted Varce but now, it was a bit obvious.
