“You should get down now sleeping beauty,” Jenny said, tapping on Ava as they got to the parking space of the fashion store.
Ava woke up sweating profusely on her forehead.
‘Do I hate him that much?’ she thought.
“Thank goodness that's a dream.” Ava whispered aloud.
“You had a dream?” Jenny asked with her eyes searching Ava's face.
“Nothing serious, let's go get the dress for my big day” Ava said smiling as she walked into the fashion store.
This was quite unusual, from having a breakdown about the whole marriage thing to being overly excited about getting married.
Maybe Ava had a plan or something, she's too innocent to plot something evil, maybe she just decided to accept her fate.
These were the thoughts that ran through Jenny's mind as she watched Ava change into different wedding gowns, looking for which fitted her more.
“I think I love this one.” Jenny said immediately Ava came out from the dressing room.
It was a peach gown decorated with petals all over the body, it fitted so well on Ava's body, revealing her curves. The upper part of the dress was slightly v-necked which gave a nice pronunciation to Ava's cleavage.
Ava looked into the mirror smiling as she admired herself. “I'll go for this then.” She said looking from Jenny to the fashion store attendant.
“Pack this for us please alongside the shoes” Jenny said smiling at the fashion store attendant as she went ahead to make payment for the collections.
After getting the dress the duo moved into the car chatting in low tunes.
“Today is going to be a really busy day, Ava.” Jenny said, stroking Ava's head.
“I know right, I can't wait for all this to be over.” Ava said slowly putting her head on Jenny's shoulder whose hands was still stroking her head.
While the ride was still going on, Ava led on Jenny's shoulders different thoughts going through her mind.
She kept wondering what her new life was going to look like, was Ryan going to be the husband of her dreams or a nightmare like her mom.
She was still lost in her thoughts till the cab stopped in front of their house, Jenny who was staring at Ava's pale throughout the ride gently tapped her saying “we are at home, Ava.”
“Ohh.. already!” Ava exclaimed wishing the ride was a bit longer.
Jenny and Ava stepped down from the cab made payment to the driver and walked through the gate inside their building.
“You look pale Ava, are you okay?” Jenny asked pulling Ava a bit closer to herself few steps away from the door.
“Omg how can I look pale!” Ava said pretending to be shocked as she ran her hands all over her face.
Jenny smiled knowing fully well that was one of Ava's dramatic escape from reality.
“Cut the act, you have a lot on your mind right now.” Jenny said as she dropped the bag she held close to her feet while she used her hands to pull Ava's cheek together in a playful way.
“I'm honestly fine Jenny, you should believe me.” Ava said forcing an unreal smile.
“Even your smile doesn't agree with your words.” Jenny said looking at Ava with a funny eye.
“Come on, Jenny let's go inside already, we still have a lot to do.” Ava said pulling Jenny by the hands as she walked through the door.
Getting into the house, Jenny and Ava walked up the stairs to Ava's room where she placed the wedding dress and shoes in her wardrobe.
“This is really luxurious Jenny.” Ava said as she stared blankly at the dress hung in her wardrobe.
“You looked so stunning in it back at the shop” Jenny said with a wide smile.
“I know, Right, perfect body for the perfect dress!” Ava said jumping dramatic.
Their conversation got distracted by a call.
Jenny quickly picked it.
“Hello, good day.”
“Yes, please ma'am it an hour to your section please.” A lady's voice said on the other end.
“Ohh we'll be there in 30 minutes.” Jenny said.
“Who is that ?” Ava asked, posing with a smile.
“It's the spa, get dressed, let's get going.” Jenny said as she went out to also get dressed.
The duo were done bathing and Ava booked a cab with her phone as Jenny's network wasn't going through.
The ride to the spa was swift and relaxing, in no time they were at the spa.
A maleficent board in front of the spa had the words ‘Aire Ancient Bath’ written in bold and colorful letters.
“Last day single, yeah!” Jenny said as she reached out for Ava's hands with a smile.
“Yeah! Let's get the old skin off.” Ava said giggling as they walked into the spa.
Moving inside the spa, they were welcomed warmly with smiles on every staff member's face.
And showed to a locker room where they changed into a robe.
Soon a lady walked into the locker room with a glass of juice, “Have this ma'am, while we prepare your bath.” The lady added, smiling.
“Okay, we will be there shortly.” Jenny said, smiling right back at the lady.
“This will obviously be the best spa treatment I have seen.” Ava said while they walked out to have their thermal bath.
Their bath was warm and refreshing, it smelled herbal although the place was surrounded with candlelight and soft music. In less than 20 to 30 minutes they were done with their bath and were offered a list of massages to pick.
The massage section was so relaxing and good, this section lasted for about an hour before they went for their facials.
After the facials, which the section was so cool, they both returned to the dressing room, where they got their hair dry and changed into their dresses.
“This was epic, Jenny!” Ava exclaimed, smiling.
“I bet you would want to do this again.” Jenny said with a smile feeling fulfilled because Ava's mood was a bit bright now.
“Oops! A thousand times Jenny!” Ava screamed as she held Jenny's hand running down the street.
Jenny ran along with her smiling as she thought about how reality was going to hit Ava soon because it was a few hours to her wedding.
They stopped at a point and sat down on one of the pavements looking at the beautiful streets of Franklin.
“Let's book a cab, it's getting darker.” Jenny said, pulling her phone from her back.
In less than 30 minutes the cab man was in front of them.
They both went to the cab and it zoomed off.
The ride back was a bit slow and they kept chatting to whirl away time.
Ava and Jenny got home meeting Mrs. Sarah who was seated on the couch waiting patiently for them.
“Good evening, ma” Jenny greeted.
“Yes Jenny, Well done for today, you two should go get some sleep.” Mrs Sarah said.
When they went up the stairs she pulled out a document from the couch hidden drawer looking into it as she smiled wickedly before droppin
g it back.
“I'm not that mean at least they bonded.” she said with her laugh echoing in the sitting room.
