Chapter Five A tour around the people's Paradise.
Mrs Florence who was already at the dinning table, sent Kelly to go and fetch Rose.
Rose who just stepped out from the bathroom, dressed up, and followed Kelly to the dinning table.
One could easily get lost in the house.
Rose wasn't yet familiar with the big house, so to avoid getting lost, the maids had to help her in going anywhere inside the house.
"Good morning Mom", Rose greeted
'Morning my darling, How was your sleep,
'I slept well Rose replied
'Great, let's eat, after eating we're going to my Hotel where you will be working, am going to show you around, and you will learn how guest are welcomed and served. Mrs. Florence said.
Alright Mom Rose replied.
After having their breakfast, the driver arrived shortly,
Rose recognized him as the driver from yesterday, and believed he is Mrs Florence driver.
"The car is ready, Madam. Said the driver.
"Okay". Rose are you ready? Mrs Florence asked.
Yes Mom am ready. Rose replied.
They headed to the garage and drove off.
*They car parked in front of a luxury building. Rose couldn't help but admire the building as they got out of the car.
'This must be your Hotel Mom', Rose said still looking at the building.
Yes darling, here we are . Can you guess the name? Mrs. Florence asked
Uhmm, "Paradise"? Rose jokingly replied.
You're almost correct love, It's Called, "The people's Paradise. Mrs. Florence corrected her with a smile and led her inside the Hotel.
The security guards standing at the door entrance, looked at each other, as if asking "Did you hear that"?
The inside of the hotel, was inviting with the touch of an elegant decor, plush furnishings and subtle lighting that creates a cozy glow.
Looking at the guests, they feels relaxed and pampered with the whole atmosphere.
let's go to the kitchen Rose, Mrs. Florence said.
They arrived at the kitchen shortly,
"This is Jennifer the head chef"
"Jennifer meet Rose, she will will be working here starting from next week.
Mrs. Florence introduced them
'Hello, Rose you're welcome to our hotel. Jenifer said with a friendly smile.
Thank you. Rose replied.
From the kitchen, they went to the Swimming pool, from there, they went back inside to the counter, where the receptionists were, From there they went to the bar, where people can drink and party.
After going round the hotel, they went inside, and sat down in the already arranged table.
Not long after, a waiter approached them with something looking like a book on his hand, "May I have your order Madam"? the waiter asked, while half of his eyes were fixed on Rose,
She is so beautiful, just as Ken described he thought to himself.
Mrs Florence made their order and the waiter left.
"Meanwhile, when Rose and Mrs. Florence walked in earlier, the staffs and some of the guests couldn't help but take a second look at her.
Rose beauty could make someone fall down while looking at her.
Her captivating beauty is capable of making anyone fall head over hills for her.
After about Fifteen minutes their food arrived. Help yourself Rose. don't forget to give a five star review to our hotel, Mrs Florence teased.
I sure will, Rose replied,
yummy! "the food served here is so delicious, am definitely coming back again. Rose said as she took a bite of Sandwich.
You can say that again, Mrs Florence replied with a smile.
After eating, there table were cleared and a cup of orange juice was placed on their table.
As they slowly took a sip of their drink, the observed the staffs, who were busy discussing them .
"I haven't seen Mrs Florence come to the hotel with some one before, this my first time seeing it, since I started working here. Said one of the waitress,
"Neither have I seen her showing someone around the hotel, Another person chipped in.
And I haven't seen her eating with some one in this hotel before, this is the first time am seeing this. another waiter said.
What's going on here, got time to gossip?
The manager who was passing by asked, disrupting their conversation.
They all scampered to different spots.
Mrs Florence and Rose, were now in the kitchen, intently watching how the chefs were cooking.
After spending almost an hour in the kitchen, They came out to where they parked their car earlier.
The driver who was still waiting drove off.
He stopped at an electronic mall and Mrs Florence went in to get something, however she signalled Rose to wait for her in the car.
After Ten minutes, she came out carrying something.
The driver opened the car door and she sat down.
"Rose, here this is yours, It's a laptop, I figured out you might need it, It will help you in studying and preparing for school while you're working, Mrs Florence said and handed the laptop to Rose.
Rose couldn't contain her Joy, she had always wished to own a laptop each time she sees her step brother working on his laptop.
Thank you so much Mommy, am so happy, Rose said
You're welcome love, When we get home I will show you how to use it, Mrs Florence replied.
Not long after, they arrived at the house.
Rose, after taking your bath come to the dinning table, Mrs Florence said.
Okay Mom, Rose replied and went to her room, she went straight to the bathroom and hurriedly took her bath.
She couldn't wait to open her laptop and learn how to operate it. she jogged to the dinning table and waited for Mrs Florence. who came in shortly.
They ate their dinner and went to the parlour to catch up with their show, while the maids cleared the table where they ate.
Mrs Florence taught Rose how to use the laptop she bought for her.
And after that, they watched a couple of TV series and chatted about their day at the hotel.
Before going to bed in their respective rooms.
