Chapter 10: The Nano Oracle

Lower Manhattan, Odin's Eye Black Market Lynn’s neural interface suddenly flashed a warning. The quantum visual field displayed Heimdall's mechanical heart, now under attack by red code—the same apocalyptic virus she had encountered three hours earlier in the “Earthbound Serpent” server. "Hold him down," she commanded, tearing open the old man’s tactical vest. Her nano-gloves illuminated with DNA-strand light patterns. "His gene lock is undergoing quantum collapse." Quantum Operating Room Mudr watched the holographic monitor tremble. "Heart rate: 380! The Blood of Odin system is completely out of control!" He suddenly pulled a g*n, aiming at Lynn. "What exactly have you activated—" Before he could finish, twelve quantum surgical knives levitated around Lynn. Her pupils flickered with data constellations as she spoke: "In 1947, I implanted a reverse gene sequence into myself. It’s the perfect solution to patch up your boss’s defective clone body." Top Floor Helipad Alexander watched the holographic projection with a smirk. His Mjölnir USB suddenly activated. Above, the Starlink satellites formed runes, casting a quantum medical force field over all of Manhattan. Three Hours Later, Nine Realms Military Tower Heimdall touched his newly regenerated biological heart, astonished. "You reconstructed my telomeres? This technology is at least fifty years ahead of our time..." Lynn casually tossed him the bloodstained quantum chip. "Just a little trick from fifty years ago," she said. "When you took part in the Ragnarök Project in 1947, you should’ve expected the original code to bite back." Upper East Side, Winchester Manor Zhong Manhua stared at the suddenly black-screened AI butler, furrowing her brows. "The tracking agent injected into the second miss… it failed?" The AI butler’s red-eye warning flashed: "Warning: Odin Group’s quantum signal intrusion detected." Secret Laboratory Lynn inserted the Odin Key she had obtained into the main console. The cryogenic chamber slowly rose—inside was a bronze-masked Alexander, labeled: "Knight Templar Descendant Clone: Subject 13". A quantum communicator suddenly rang, and Alexander’s playful voice came through: "Darling, spying on someone’s past life body is terribly impolite."
