The morning of the press conference, Sebastian woke before dawn. He lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, Julian's arm draped across his chest. The apartment was quiet. The city outside was still asleep. But Sebastian's mind was already racing. Today, they would tell the world their story. Today, there was no going back. Julian stirred beside him. "You are thinking too much." "Sorry." "Do not be sorry. Just tell me what is going on in that head of yours." Sebastian turned his head to look at Julian. His hair was messy, his eyes still heavy with sleep. He looked soft and young and nothing like the polished stepbrother from the family dinners. "I am thinking about my mom," Sebastian said.
