The next few days passed the same, each night Daphne was plagued with dreams of Nadiia and Riven. Some of them were clearly nearing the end of her life, though Daphne had not figured out how that happened yet, and some were from when they first met. It was frustrating to watch everything unfold, unable to do anything but endure. Daphne could see how much Riven cared for her though, and how much Nadiia used that against him. Why was Nadiia showing her this? Why did she do that to Riven? Every morning, she woke before dawn and went to the same place to watch the sun rise.
