VIEVE PEREZ HILTON
We went back to the old house. Seeing the car, I knew they were there. Peeking through the same window as before, we saw Ethan tied to a chair, being tortured by those men.We stopped peeking and sat on the floor.
"Young master, should I call the police?" Sir asked.
"No, we'll save him ourselves," Zephyr said.
"Don't be a hero. You see they have weapons. It's better to call the police than to fight them," I said seriously.
"It's a waste of time to call the police. Besides, you don't know what Ethan did to end up like this," Zephyr said seriously.
His words struck me. He's right. I don't know why they took Ethan…
While we were planning, a shadow blocked us. Looking up, it was those men.
"Well, well, unexpected guests. Get them," the man ordered.
We were taken inside. Getting a closer look at Ethan, I covered my mouth in shock. His face was covered in blood. Anger surged through me. What did Ethan do to deserve this? Even though we weren't close, I still felt pity.
"Vieve… What… are you… doing… here?" Ethan asked weakly, struggling to speak.
"So you know Ethan. Who are you? His friends?" asked the man, who seemed to be their leader.
"We—"
"Yes, why did you do this to him? You could go to jail for this, you know," I said seriously.
They laughed. Their leader looked at me, and I glared back into his eyes until he approached me and cupped my chin.
"Don't touch me!" I said seriously.
He just smiled. "You're brave, and you didn't look away. You're beautiful too. I'll enjoy you for a long time," the man said with a crazy smile.
"I said let go!" I said irritably.
Before I could reach for his hand to remove it from my chin, someone did it for me. I stepped back in surprise. Zephyr was in front of me, still holding the man's hand.
"Oh, you have a boyfriend, miss. But it's okay, I still want you. Because I get everything I want," he said with a wide smile.
His words terrified me. My whole body trembled.
Although I couldn't see Zephyr's face, his grip on the man's hand was tight.
"Felipe, get ready!" Zephyr said seriously.
"Yes, young master. Miss, please step aside. It wouldn't be good if something bad happened to you," Sir said calmly.
l stepped aside. I saw him put on white gloves. The man tried to leave, but Zephyr still held him.
"Let go!" the man said seriously.
"Are those words familiar to you?" Zephyr said calmly.
The man stopped struggling, he glared angrily.
"Boys, tie her up," the man ordered. They did so. But Zephyr remained standing, unconcerned.
Before the men could get close to her, sir knocked the man down. It happened so fast I couldn't speak. He knocked down the men one by one, leaving only their leader standing.
"How does it feel to be helpless?" Zephyr asked him.
"You! You'll pay for this!" the man shouted.
He was about to punch with his other hand when sir quickly blocked it. Zephyr rained down blows until the man's face was bleeding and he collapsed. Only then did he release the man.
"Try touch him again, with your dirty hands, that's not all I'll do to you," Zephyr said threateningly
l saw them all lying on the ground, injured. I untied Ethan.
"Thank you for your help," Ethan thanked us.
"That's not enough. Give us a reason why they did this," Zephyr said seriously.
"What are you doing?" I scolded him.
"I didn't just help for nothing. Tell us what really happened," Zephyr asked seriously.
l remained silent. I also wanted to know the truth. We looked at Ethan, and he took a deep breath before speaking.
"Before... I was with them... Because I have many siblings, and since they were good at sports, they got all the attention from my parents. My parents always compare me to them, and I was always scolded. That's why I joined them. But after I joined the IPA, I realized it wasn't good, so I left. But they didn't leave me alone." Ethan explained.
l sighed deeply. Sometimes, parents hurt their own children, not physically, but mentally. That's why they join bad people.
I stood up and offered my hand to help him up. "You did the right thing. It's better to leave than to ruin your life," I said with a smile.
l saw sadness in his eyes, but when he saw my smile, Ethan took my hand, and I helped him up.
"If they hurt you again, tell us, and we'll help you," I said with a smile.
"Tss, you're just paying us back for a debt," Zephyr muttered.
"Thank you for your help," Ethan said, bowing his head.
I'm not good at comforting people, but I felt the pain he was going through.
l hugged him when I saw tears fall to the ground.
"Don't cry, you're not alone," I said calmly.
He cried even harder. Oh no, did I say something wrong? Maybe I'm not good at calming people down.
"Thank you, thank you so much," Ethan said, still crying, tightening his hug.
While I was stroking his back, someone suddenly pulled away from us.
Zephyr...
"Why?" I asked, confused.
"Enough! you two. It's disgusting," Zephyr said angrily.
"Huh???"
