Aeko's POV
Just as I'm about to reach the side walk of my street I get knocked by a car. The impact is so severe that I flew a few metres back the direction I came from and I bumped my head on the ground so many times whilst my body was rolling towards the end of the street. Once I had stopped all the pain that I just experienced starts coming back to me and damn it hurt. How reckless are these Cape Town drivers. My head hurts so bad, I feel like someone just opened it up without putting me to sleep first. I get a feel on my shoulders and they bleeding, and so are my knees and head.
I try to sit up and I felt like someone just drove a butcher knife right through my spine area. I look around and I see the car coming towards my direction, at least I got rid of those boys. Once the car stopped in front of me the driver comes out to help me up. He was tall, fit, and oddly fair. He looked like a man with respect and was wearing a suit. He kneels next to me to help me up but I just slap his hand away.
Driver: Mam' please let me help you
Me: Don't touch me
Driver: If you don't let me help you then you might die out here
Me: I know my way home. You almost killed me just as I was about to reach it
Driver: Let me ateast take you to the hospital so you can get checked out
Me: I don't need your help I'm fine. But just know I will sue you for reckless driving
Driver: Mam' please try to...
Voice: Let it be Alex, I'll take it from here
Driver: Are you sure Sir?
Voice: I'm sure
As I'm rubbing my head I feel someone lift me and place me inside a car.
Me: I thought I told you not to touch me
Voice: He didn't, I did
Me: And who are you exactly
Voice: Austin, Austin Jones, you may have heard of me
Me: No actually I haven't, why are you the most wanted or something? Oh and why the hell did you run me over??
Austin: First, no I'm the king of business, the most wanted bachelor in Africa, America, Asia and Europe. Secondly, it was an accident
Me: Where are you taking me?
Austin: The hospital
Me: What?!
Austin: We have to get you checked out
Me: Take me home now!!
Austin: Sorry little girl but I can't do that
I just punch his chest with my right hand.
Austin: You just dirtied my shirt. Wait, is that blood? Let me see your hands
Me: Why?
Austin: You have blood on your hands goddamit
Me: First, I don't know what you talking about and second, I'm feeling a bit dizzy
Austin: Lay down on my lap
I slowly position myself to sleep on Austin's lap. With each move my head just stunk even more than before. I feel Austin stroke my hair but he stopped after two strokes.
Austin: Alex drive faster
Alex: Yes Sir
Austin: Little girl I need you to stay awake for me okay?
Me: I can barely keep my eyes open right now. I think I'll take a short nap
Austin: No, no, no, I need you to keep your eyes open. Stay with me ok, don't sleep
Me: When am I getting home?
Austin: As soon as we get back from the hospital
Me: Why are we going to the hospital? Wait is Ethan there? I hope he's not dead too
Austin: Who's... Forget it. We going to the hospital to get you checked out
Me: Why me, wait did I eat bad food? And who are you Mr? My brother says not to talk to strangers
Austin: You got hit by a car remember
Me: You hit me with a car, I said I want to go home
Austin: I'll take you home later
Me: Where are we going?
Austin: Please tell me we're there already
Alex: As a matter of fact we are Sir. Let me get a bed for her
Austin: Thank you. Now listen here, I'm going to place you in a bed, don't talk unless you talking to the doctor or me
Me: Yes Sir but question, who are you?
I hear the car door being opened then Austin carries me and places me in a hospital bed, I think. My memory right now is all mixed up. I don't even know why I'm here. I see bright lights as I'm wheeled inside the hospital. Exactly why am I here again? Anyways we reach a room and I'm placed on another bed. The doctors do their thing, and after a while I start feeling drowsy. I blink a few times then fell asleep.
The morning I woke up I was told that's its Friday the 14th. Wait, I've been here for two days. Wait why was I here again?
Austin: Glad to see you're finally awake little girl
Me: I remember now, you ran me over you idiot
Austin: I did not ran you over, my driver did and besides it was an accident. Wait, let me get your doctor
Doctor: I'm already here, good morning Miss. Nice of you to finally join us
Me: Can I go home?
Doctor: I don't see why not. There is some medication I'd like you to take home
Me: Give them to him, he almost killed me anyways
Austin: Well don't you just have a wild imagination
Doctor: Here's her prescription, make sure she gets her medication on time
Austin: Will do. I got you some clothes, get dressed so we can go. The bag is in the bathroom
I get up and drag my feet to the bathroom. My back hurts like hell but my head doesn't sting as much anymore. I enter the bathroom and close the door. I decide to take a hot bath before getting dressed. Once I was done I grab the bag just to see what he got. There was a black and white Nike tracksuit, some toiletries and lotion. I put on the deodorant and lotion my body. I find some female boxes and a few sport bras. I put them on and the sizes were just perfect. The hell?! Anyways I finally get dressed then head out with the bag
Austin: Took you long enough
Me: I was busy
Austin: Let's go, I'll drop you off at home
Me: I don't remember where I stay
Austin: Do you know how we might find out where you stay?
Me: My bag, my bag should have something
He then gets his phone and calls someone.
Austin: Alex did you see little girl's bag?
Alex:......
Austin: Good, I need to check for anything that might tell us where she stays
Alex:......
Austin: Great, we coming down now
Me: What did he say?
Austin: Your room key had your address
We exit the hospital and luckily Alex was parked right in front. Austin opens the door for me and I get in while he follows. Alex then drives to my address and I only remember it once I reach my room. I walk inside with Austin behind me and I start to look around. Ethan, Ethan is still not here. I go to my room and just lay in my bed.
Austin: Look you can't stay here, I need you to come stay with me just until you finish your medication
Me: I'm not going anywhere
Austin: I'll make myself at home then
Me: Food is in the kitchen, there's an extra bedroom right next to mine and please lock the door
Austin: Yes mam'. Just rest well and I'll wake you up in a few hours so you can take your pills
Me: Thank you
He then leaves and closes the door. I still can't help but wonder why Ethan left me. Lost in my own thoughts I slowly drift to sleep. I feel someone shaking me so I open my eyes to see Austin waking me up.
Austin: Wake up, you need to eat and take your pills
Me: Can't I sleep for a rew more hours
Austin: You can sleep when you've done what I've asked you to do
Me: Are you always this bossy?
Austin: Are you always this stubborn? I made you zakariya chicken
Me: who the what now??
Austin: Just eat it and take your meds. Your tray is on the side there
Me: Thanks
Austin: Welcome
I grab my tray and his chicken looked quite appealing. I grab my fork and knife and start digging in. I drank the orange juice that he made for me then drank my pills. Now I remember why I hate them so much, those things are disgusting damn. I place everything on the tray then take it out to the kitchen. I notice Austin was done with his food so I take his plate and wash it along with mine. I dry my hands, wish him goodnight then head to my room. Wait, why doesn't this feel weird? I then turn back to him.
Me: Isn't this weird for you?
Austin: It should be for you but I'm used to woman wanting me to nurse them
Me: I didn't ask you to nurse me and I don't want you to either. I just can't seem to get rid of you
Austin: Have you tried saying 'Austin please leave'
Me: Why are you still here?
Austin: Why am I still here?
