Jason: I would keep my mouth shut if I were you before I tell mom your true intentions
Me: What intentions?
We all busy arguing that we don't notice that Bryan left the kitchen. The next thing I hear two gun shots. I turn around and I see Bryan holding his gun and he is fumming with rage. I turn my attention to these two and luckily he only gave them flesh wounds. Bryan reaches into his pockets and takes out his pocket knife and stabs it right through Jason's chest.
Bryan: Don't remove it if you don't want to bleed to death, I'm sure it went right through your artery
He leaves us again and comes back dragging an axe.
Me: Isn't that the same axe you...
He just looks at me with a smirk on his face and that's a sign for me to sit down and watch. He lifts it and uses it to chop off both of dad's hands. He them takescloths from the kitchen drawer and ties them around dad's hands.
Bryan: Drink? Then you can tell me what you were saying
What the f**k just happened? He's talking so casually like that didn't just happen. I love Bryan no doubt but sometimes he scares me.
Me: What about them?
Bryan: I don't know who or what you talking about
Me: So we just gonna let them bleed to death
Bryan: They'll be fine, besides I'm too lazy to go back to the hospital
I think I should run.Muzi's face immediately became cold. I definitely striked a nerve there. Thing is the reason why Muzi joined the mafia was not for money. He did it because he wanted the mafia's help to find the guy who r***d and beated his sister half to death. It didn't take long for them to find him and Muzi had his refenge. After that he's always had a deep hatred for guys who abuse woman.
Me: What are we going to do Muzi? We can't let this slide
Bryan: I'll have a talk with the Don and he'll know what to do
Me: Wait what?
Bryan: Yeah that's what I'll do. Till then you can do whatever you want to them, just don't kill them
Me: I'm thinking of taking them to the warehouse but I want them to have to look at Aeko every day before they die
Bryan: Go home, I'll let her go in two days
Me: Thanks man, I'll see you
Bryan: Yeah sure
I drive home and leave these two in the car. I can already imagine how much they must be shitting their pants. Bryan wanting to talk to the Don is not good news for anyone. I'm even scared for them now. I get inside and head straight to my room. I get all my clothes and move them to Aeko's room. I don't want to have to share a room with Jason. I get to Aeko's room and decide to call Nadia and she picks up on the first ring.
Me: How is she?
Nadia: Still asleep
I could hear it in her voice that she was really worried.
Me: Try to get some sleep ok, she'll be fine I promise you
Nadia: I will don't worry. I love you ok
Me: I love you too, I'll call you tomorrow
Nadia: Why don't you come see us?
Me: I have to be somewhere but I'll try to see what I can do
Nadia: Hmm I see, I thought you'd be one her side for once
Me: I am, you not understanding me. Whatever I what to do, I'm doing it for her
Nadia: Good night
And just like that she hangs up on me. What's with woman and being dramatic?? I sigh and drag myself to bed. I exhale in last time then close my eyes and let sleep take over me. Tomorrow just might be a long day. Just as I'm drifting off my phone vibrates and I turn to see who's calling me at this time. I look and the caller ID and phone anger immediately rushed over me. What the f**k does she want!! I pick up the call with the hopes of only saying one thing.
Me: Call me again and I will end you
Nicole: Oh come on Jayden, can't we just get along?
Me: For what reason exactly?
Nicole: I want my daughter
Me: You have a daughter?
Nicole: I want to right my wrongs
Me: Since when do you do that?
Nicole: I know I was wrong but I had no choice, Jayden look..
Me: Don't you dare bullshit me Nicole, we both know you had a choice
Nicole: Listen here Jayden I'm not your friend. I want my daughter and I will get here at any cost
Me: Overy dead body
Nicole: That can be arranged
Me: You and what army
Nicole: The Johnsons
Me: How do you know the Johnsons?
Nicole: Don't you know? I'm Mrs Johnson
Me: What?! That's low Nicole, even for you
Nicole: Just give me my daughter and I'll be out of your hair
Me: I'd rather let her die then allow you to have her
Nicole: Who's going to kill her? You? Please, we both know you don't have the guts
Me: I'm warning you Nicole, leave Aeko alone
Nicole: I'm coming for my daughter, but you will regret this conversation
She then drops the call. f**k!!! Why can't this woman just leave us alone. She left when she got no money and know she comes here acting like a Saint. I'd rather declare war with the Johnsons then to hand over Uncle Ryan's heiress. I promised him I'd protect her and that's exactly what I'm going to do. But what do the Johnsons want with Aeko? They deal with drugs so why are they so suddenly interested in the military business?
