Jayden's POV

I was still talking to that fine ass chick when Nadia, Aeko's friend walked by. I guess Aeko must have went and cried to cry to her. She didn't even give me a side glance when she saw me(Aeko). Honestly I don't blame her. 

Oh forgive my manners, my name is Jayden Peterson. As you already know, I'm Jason's twin brother and I'm the oldest. I've been craving Nadia since we were little kids when Aeko first brought her home. Back then Aeko's dad was around and we still lived in Durban.

There is a lot of s**t that went down before Aeko's dad died and I can't bring myself up to tell her about it. I know business is business, but what happened tore my heart apart due to the pain it caused my little cousin. I love that girl and I've always loved her. Why do I hit her then you ask? 

I know it may sound stupid but I want her to grow up strong and able to take any torture. In this business that I'm in, if ever it comes out that my cousin is now out of my sight, who knows what s**t people will put her through just to get information, the Mafia is very dangerous. 

I give her all sorts of torture that I've seen being used and have used just so that she can be able to withstand it if ever the time came. I know you might think I'm heartless, and I don't blame you. In this business I have to be but people know I'm soft towards Aeko and someday someone will get to her. Whether if it's for me or someone else.

Back to the present I feel hands over me. I turn my focus back on the chick I was hitting on, and all of a sudden she's no longer sexy to me. I can't stop thinking of Nadia. I wonder if she's still here. I remove this girl's hands from my shoulders and start searching for Nadia. 

I find her at the kitchen being hit on by this guy who seemed to not know what he's doing, or who's girl he's messing with. Wait, did I just refer to Nadia as my girl? I walk over there and wrap my hands around Nadia's waist. I kiss her on the cheek and turn my attention to this guy.

Me: Babe you ok? (I'm asking Nadia whilst looking at the guy)

Nadia: Yes I'm good

Me:(looking deep into the guys eyes) Beat it!

He immediately leaves and I take this chance and pull Nadia towards my room. I push her in then lock the door. I turn my attention back to Nadia and for a while there is a long silence. I walk a few steps towards her then look her straight in her eyes. I take a deep breathe and lean in to kiss her, before my lips could even touch hers, she pulls me close and kisses me.

After so many years of waiting, I finally get to taste these soft juicy lips. They so plumb that I actually feel like I'm biting on a big mouth watering strawberry. I push her towards my bed and I lay her down with her tongue still exploring my mouth. I start removing her clothes while she removes mine. The rest are just sleeping on the floor. I start waking them up and leading them to the door. I decide to check up on Aeko. I walk into her room and find her sleeping so gracefully. My uncle must be proud of how his young girl raised herself. I sit next to her on the edge of the bed.

Me: Aeko I know I may not be the best cousin or brother in the world but one day I hope you realise how much I love you baby sis. You mean the world to me and I would move mountains for you. If ever someone tries to do any harm to you. I hope you know that you can come to me for help. Goodnight and sleep well my angel 

I kiss her cheek and pull the blanket to cover her shoulders. I get up and look one last time at my baby sister, that's right, she's now my sister. I can't believe she's gonna be leaving me soon. That only means someone is going to come pay us a visit and I know exactly why. But knowing Aeko, she won't cave to her easily. I have faith in her. My training won't be in vain. I turn and surprisingly find Nadia standing by the door.

Nadia: You really love her don't you?

Me: How long have you been standing there? 

Nadia: Long enough to know how you truly feel 

Me: Well it's more than she or anyone knows it. Maybe even more than I know it

Nadia: Then why don't you ever show her?

(Could Aeko have told her about my torturing)

Me: What do you mean?

Nadia: I mean you always yelling at her and calling her names. Why don't you just show her some love for once

Me: I show her tough love to prepare her for the outside world

Nadia: I get that, but show her the true love you have for her before she slips out of your hands

Her words really got me thinking and maybe she was right. I've already spent all of these years putting her down, maybe now it's time to lift her up. I kiss Nadia and walk her out of Aeko's room before we both wake her up. I'm not even gonna look for my other siblings. They old enough to take care of themselves now. The only baby here is Aeko and I'm gonna make sure she's safe. I will kill anyone who even tries to kill my baby sis.

The next morning I wake up to a beautiful aroma coming from the kitchen and that only means one thing, Aeko's up. Nadia offers Akeo to join us for breakfast but I guess she's just too used to how things are that she refused without a flince. My poor sister, I've never noticed the amount of pain she carries in her eyes. I've been so focused on keeping her strong that I haven't noticed how much she's been breaking down.

I was able to convince Nadia to stay over the night again. Aeko has been keeping busy all day so now Nadia keeps thinking she's avoiding her. (If only she knew). Tyra and Shay decide to bring their boyfriends for the night to dinner. I can't really complain seeing as how I got Nadia here. I'm not comfortable with the way Jason is trying to get close to Aeko. He's planning something and I can feel it. Knowing my brother, no good is to come from his behavior.
