We were both seated on the couch with him backing the stairs and my eyes on it; I had no way to alert Audrey of the danger and the only think I could think of doing was to signal her, in case she decided to come out with the boy.
How stupid could she be having s*x with him in our house but then again; Audrey had always been so stubborn and I wasn’t any better if I might say.
