I was pulled out of my afternoon lecture by a formal email summoning me to the Dean’s conference room immediately. My stomach dropped. I knew this was coming. Sophia’s stepfather wasn’t going to let yesterday’s slap slide. When I walked into the large conference room, the tension was thick enough to choke on.
