Inside Tan Lanxi's room, the light was softly sprinkled on the exquisite carpet, and she was sitting in front of her desk, scrutinizing every detail of the upcoming business negotiations. Her brows revealed a determination and wisdom that could not be ignored, even in the midst of the family's internal strife, she had never given up her keen insight into business.
Tan Lan Feng gently walked into the room, her steps light as if she was afraid of disturbing her sister's contemplation. She walked over to Tan Lanxi and asked with concern, "Lanxi, are you still preparing for tomorrow's negotiations? Don't be too tired."
Tan Lanxi looked up and smiled gently at her sister, "Sister, I'm not tired. This negotiation is crucial for the Tan family, I have to be prepared for everything."
Tan Lan Feng nodded, she understood her sister and knew that once she decided to do something, she would go all out. She gently stroked Tan Lanxi's shoulder, giving her silent support.
At this moment, Tan Lan Yan's figure appeared in the doorway, a hint of disdain in her eyes, "Sisters are really diligent, still discussing how to deal with us at this late hour?"
Tan Lan Xi's brows furrowed slightly, she knew that Tan Lan Yan's words carried a sting, but she chose to remain calm, "Lan Yan, we are all part of the Tan family, there is no dealing with us or not. Tomorrow's negotiations concern the future of the Tan Family, I hope we can be united."
Tan Lan Yan snorted coldly as she walked into the room, her gaze sweeping over Tan Lan Xi's desk, "Future? I see it's about whether or not you can become the helmsman of the Tan family."
Seeing this, Tan Lan Feng immediately stepped forward to round off the conversation, "Lan Yan, don't talk nonsense. Lan Xi has always been looking out for the Tan Family, and everyone has seen her efforts."
Tan Lan Yan, however, did not appreciate this, she sneered, "Yes, everyone sees it in their eyes, only I was kept in the dark. Sister, you always protect her, am I so untrustworthy?"
Tan Lan Xi stood up, her eyes firm and calm, "Lan Yan, I know you have anger in your heart, but we are sisters, we shouldn't be suspicious of each other. I'm sure you don't want to see the Tan family split up either."
A trace of complexity flashed across Tan Lan Yan's face as she bit her lip and did not speak. Seeing this, Tan Lanfeng hurriedly pulled her hand, "Lan Yan, let's go have a cup of tea together and talk it over."
Tan Lan Yan did not refuse, she let Tan Lan Feng pull her away, but the moment she turned around, her gaze once again landed on Tan Lan Xi, there was unwillingness, challenge, and a hint of ineffable anticipation in those eyes.
As Tan Lanxi watched the sisters leave, a complex emotion welled up in her heart. She knew that Tan Lan Yan's dissatisfaction was not unwarranted, but as the Tan Family's heir, she had to be broad-minded and wise enough to resolve these conflicts.
It was late at night, Tan Lanxi stood alone on the balcony, looking at the starry sky. She knew that the Tan family still had a long way to go, and she needed to do more than just succeed in business to win the trust and support of the family members.
The next day, Tan Lanxi walked into the negotiation room with an unprecedented confidence and composure. Across from her sat the representatives of the Ou family, their eyes scrutinizing and expectant. Tan Lanxi was not the least bit nervous, her every word and movement revealed the demeanor of the Tan family's heir.
Negotiations began, and Tan Lanxi used her wisdom and strategy to win the other party's respect little by little. She not only fought for favorable conditions for the Tan family, but also showed the temperament and ability of the Tan family's daughter.
After the negotiations were over, the representative of the Ou family stood up and extended her hand to Tan Lanxi: "Ms. Tan, your performance is impressive. We look forward to further cooperation with the Tan family."
Tan Lanxi shook the other party's hand, her eyes glittering with victory, "Thank you, and I also look forward to our cooperation leading to a win-win situation for both sides."
As Tan Lanxi walked out of the negotiation room, she saw Tan Lanfeng and Tan Lanyan waiting outside. Tan Lan Feng's face was beaming with pride, while Tan Lan Yan's eyes held a hint of complexity.
Tan Lanxi walked up to them, a hint of relief and pleasure in her voice, "We did it."
Tan Lan Feng excitedly hugged Tan Lan Xi, "I knew you could do it, Lan Xi, you're the best."
Tan Lan Yan, on the other hand, stood by the side, her heart filled with mixed feelings. She looked at Tan Lanxi and finally spoke, "Sister, congratulations."
Tan Lanxi held Tan Lan Yan's hand, her eyes filled with sincerity, "Lan Yan, we are sisters, and the future of the Tan family needs your support as well."
A glimmer of tears flashed in Tan Lan Yan's eyes as she held onto Tan Lan Xi's hand, at this moment, she finally understood Tan Lan Xi's good intentions.
The three sisters looked at each other and smiled, they knew that the future of the Tan family would be guarded by them together.
