Chapter 9: The Marriage

In the plush conference room of the Tan Group, Tan Lanxi sits upright, an important contract in front of her while her mind drifts out the window to the bustling commercial city and the stage where she is about to embark on her new life. She was about to take over the family business and become the head of Tan's group, but in her mind, she felt a slight uneasiness about her upcoming marriage.

"Tan Lanxi's thoughts were brought back to reality by the sound of a crunch, and she realized that she had accidentally knocked over the expensive pen container on the table, and three valuable fountain pens tumbled to the ground. Her younger sister, Tan Lan Yan, stood in front of her, dissatisfaction and provocation written all over her face.

"Sister, you saw it all, who was being unreasonable, who was playing the brute." There was a hint of calmness in Tan Lanxi's voice, she knew that her sister had always been jealous of her.
