[Iodine POV]
I sat in the Beta's office, leaning forward as I watched the surveillance footage. We'd managed to capture the crash of the minivan, and I found Eloise's and Joel's description of the wolf to be incredibly accurate.
I'd fought rogues before. But this one was enormous, a bear would have looked small in comparison. He was covered in slick, oil-like black fur, and his eyes glowed like beacons of fiery brimstone. If that wasn't the Sigma himself, I'd be worried about what in the Goddess's name the rogue wolves were hiding.
