[Leon's POV]
I started driving in the middle of the night to get to Bright Phoenix for the morning, but it was worth it when I pulled up and saw Iodine standing outside the gates. Her green eyes darkened when I got out of the car and I could all but feel her sweep her gaze up and down me.
I'd be lying if I hadn't done the same from within the car. Her jeans hugged her toned legs and I don't think I'd ever get enough of seeing her in a tight turtleneck.
I could have called her beautiful, rapturous, hell - even started kneeling and worshipping. Anything might have been better than what actually came out of my mouth. "You look really good, Io."
