Chapter Thirty-Nine
[Leon's POV]
I was worried I'd gone a a bit far when Iodine collapsed into me, but despite the exhaustion, her smile reassured me that it was alright. But I was definitely going to get revenge enacted on me, and I was almost positive it wasn't going to be another run.
I woke up early with my alarm and silenced it before Iodine stirred so I could jump in the shower before the day started. I stared at myself in the mirror as I shaved off my stubble and smiled, thinking back on last night again.
