*Till I See You Again* Chapter 1: _Two Days With Euphoria. 4_ Tris exits his room, finding his mother already gone. He walks down the hallway to the hospital's reception located in the same building near the entrance. He inquires about April's bills and is informed that they've been taken care of by a lady who left a while ago. Tris returns his wallet to his pocket and thanks the receptionist before leaving. As he's about to depart, the receptionist calls out, "Sir, Dr. Carl has something for you." She holds out an envelope with both hands, and Tris leans forward to accept it, showing his gratitude. Meanwhile, April opens the curtains to her side, revealing a serene view of the parking lot and nearby buildings. Tris heads to the parking lot and sits in his car, glancing at the envelope. April notices his actions and smiles. Tris carefully unfolds the envelope, revealing a letter inside. He sighs heavily and reads it: [It's been a while, Tris, or should I say…brother?] Tris smiles in acknowledgment and continues reading: [I have wonderful news for you. My team and I have been tirelessly working to find a cure for your illness. Although we don't have a perfect cure yet, we're very close. In three days, you'll be heading to Paris, and Hector will be joining us to assist. Wus e're on the brink of discovering a cure for your happiness and freedom.] Tris's eyes fill with tears, and he gently wipes them away as he reads further: [I'm sorry we couldn't do anything for Dad. Something was amiss with his treatment. His medications were diluted and weakened his system due to non-functional dosages. Someone was behind it. But let's hold onto hope for a better future. I'll be waiting for you in Paris, brother. CIAO.] The letter concludes, and Tris folds it. Memories of his parents and their loyal butler, Leo, flood his mind as he slowly sobs out his sorrow. An old family photo falls from the envelope, and he picks it up, gazing at the smiles of Miss Lynn, his father, Butler Leo, Carl, and Aiden seated together on a couch. He runs his hand over their faces and wipes his tears as he starts the car, speeding onto the highway. April's smile fades as she witnesses his sudden burst of speed, sensing that something isn't right. Tris accelerates to over 200mph on the deserted highway, with a view of the beach on the left. After a while, he slows down and comes to a stop. He steps out and gazes at the beach, reminiscing about the times spent there with his family. As he closes his eyes and breathes in the sea's scent, he mutters, "What's the point if there's no happiness?" He sighs and, with the view of the sunset, calms his mood, then continues driving at a gentler pace. Tris hears the noise of the populated city after the highway and he slowly drives through to the white villa. The gate automatically opens as he drives slowly through the path leading to the main villa. The valet walks over to park the car and he steps out. After receiving the usual courteous greeting he walks inside, advancing through the living room, then to his room upstairs. He walks to his bed and places the picture under his pillow, then falls on the bed, gazing at the glossy lighting system above. [The letter...] as he takes it out of his pocket and reads it once more.[Carl's contact details] he thought. Tris swiftly moves to his study table and promptly turns on his laptop, trying to contact Carl. He sends several messages but receives no response. In boredom, Tris rests his head on the table, eventually falling asleep. After about half an hour, his phone rings loudly, waking him up. He slowly picks it up and swipes to answer the call. "Good evening, this is Martin's Medical Institute. We are calling to inform you that April has been fully discharged and is ready to leave the hospital. Please make the necessary pickup arrangements, and feel free to ask any questions or seek further information," a lady's voice informs him. "Okay... but why are you telling me this? You could've called her mother instead" Tris asks. "We were instructed to inform you once she was discharged. We apologize if it's inconvenient. We'll also contact any other phone number we find on her file. Thank you," the lady replies before hanging up. Tris places his phone back on the table, silently contemplating. He observes the rain-prone weather outside as the thunder rumbles. After a few minutes, he picks up his phone and rushes out, encountering his mother and the butler while descending the stairs. "Are you leaving already? Won't you join us for dinner?" Miss Lynn asks as he rushes past her. "I might be late," he replies in the distance, the padding out. The valet hands him the keys and provides an umbrella for safety as he hurries to the parking lot on the left of the compound. He enters his familiar blue Aventador, which illuminates with neon lights under and around the tires, creating a stylish effect. He drives swiftly to the hospital, where the rain starts drizzling and gradually intensifies. The wipers automatically activate as he stops before the hospital. He picks up the umbrella and steps out into the rain. "Why am I even doing this?" he mutters and sighs. Inside the building, he's informed that April left just a few minutes ago. He returns to his car and drives along the pavement, observing the people walking alongside it. After activating the car's map he spots a bus stop shelter a few meters ahead. [She might have rushed there] he thought. He sprints to the bus stop and stops the car near the shelter. Tris swiftly steps out and draws near the shear, straining to see if there's anyone seated under.
