CHAPTER 8 : [ ATHENA'S POV ]

I closed the door , got changed in my pajamas - a white satin nightie , went to the bathroom ,finished up and made my way to bed. I pulled at  my bun and my hair  fell loose.

Beep , beep , beep - I opened my eyes slowly , I reached out my hands and put the alarm off . I got up slowly from my bed and went to the window , I slowly closed my eyes and let the fresh breeze overtake me. It was a beautiful morning , I showered and now I needed to look for an outfit. Since today was so warm I decided to wear a black embroidered woven shorts and a black halter floral printed tied back crop top and for the shoes I wore Dhakka black ankle strap stiletto high heels , I applied mascara , eyeliner and liquid lipstick lip gloss moisturizer and I decided to leave my hair loose. I took my phone, wallet , cosmetics and put it in my black shoulder crossbody handbag.

I left my room and made my way outside campus " Athena! "  I turn around and see Denise walking to me "yes Denise "   " morning Athena , you look beautiful as always . I came to inform you about yesterdays party -the girls , the alcohol"   " morning to you too Denise , thank you and about that party I want all the girls responsible to go and clean it up immediately , I'm putting you in charge make sure its done when I get back."   " Its an honor Athena but they wont believe me "   '' hold on a second ! "  I took my phone out and called Johnathan " who you calling ? " 

JOHNATHAN : " Hello whose this calling ? ''  

ATHENA : " Hey Johnathan its Athena , I don't have time to chit chat so I want to inform you about yesterdays party - the drinks were laced with alcohol and I'm pretty sure you had a hand in that so I want you to get your a*s down here and help clean up the mess you guys made or unless you can get kicked off campus - do we have a deal ? " 

JOHNATHAN : " Yo Athena , I just got up - don't know how you got my number but I'm sure as hell happy to hear that sexy accent of yours , I'll come around later see you then babe ! " 

ATHENA : '' Don't call me babe besides Denise will guide you through it " 

JOHNATHAN : " Denise , isn't she that red head - with the puppy hazel eyes and curvy body ? " 

ATHENA : " Yeah so what are you implying ? " 

JOHNATHAN : " Oh nothing much , just inquiring about my ex" 

ATHENA : " Okay Johnathan bye ! " 

JOHNATHAN : " Bye babes ! " 

ATHENA : " Johnathan you asshole ! "

" Great he put off , Denise I got to go talk later "  " yeah see you around ! "  I look at her one last time  "Denise you dated Johnathan ? "  " yip my very first boyfriend "   '' that's quite nice but why first ? "   " I'll tell you later , you going to be late "   " oh yah , sorry bye! "  I ran out of campus , called a UBER and waited to get to ' WILLY'S COFFEE ON THE GO '  , I jumped out of the UBER and walked to the café - a lot of people were staring at me , that's a first . I walked further on until I reached the café.

" Is that your sister? "    " yeah Becker why ? "    " she's hot ! "   " Becker shut the hell up and don't talk I don't want her to think something is wrong "    " you do know right the entire place is wired - we'll hear everything "    " Here she comes and don't make a scene ! "  I get up and immediately went to hug her , she is just so beautiful as I remembered. " William I missed you so much , how's school going ? "   " its good really , come on let's sit " I notice all the guys staring at her " why didn't you order already?  I apologize for being late "   " hey its ok , your hair looks longer ! "   " oh my thank you - just being natural "  

" Miss what can I get you ? "   stupid Henry , who told him to be a waiter ?  Athena looks at him for a second then looks back at me " um just a hot chocolate "   " that's all you want , that's quite little "  I move and put my thumb on her cheek she just smiles " such a sweet brother you are "   I wanted to kill Becker for saying that , what if she heard ?!  " Mister what can I get for you ? "   '' black coffee  and a medium slice of milk tart"    " coming right up ! "  

" How's college ? "   " funny you should ask , mum called and asked the same thing - its good "   " did she only call for that ? ''   " no she asked how am I doing ? "   " I see! "   we talked for a while and then finally Henry graced us with his presence " will that be all miss ? "  " actually it wont - could you get me a teaspoon! "   " sure I'll be right back ."  " What is it for ? "  " relax you'll see "   Henry came back and hands it to her.
