CHAPTER 18: [ ATHENA'S POV ]

" Elaborate more! "  I look at this woman in front of me - Ms. Liesel Jane , she was a hard nut to c***k back in high school but now that she's a lecturer its to her advantage. I look at the board behind me , I took a chalk and walked to the board - I hated showing this side of me , my mother is a artist and ever since I was small she taught me how to analyze artifacts , she would always say I was the best version of her. I drew the artifacts on the board and labelled them " morning Ms. Liesel Jane we have to go to the back room "   " go on boys! "  I finished on the board and put the chalk down " this is my explanation for the artifact "   " Ms. Arthur that is not covered in our sections and that on the board could get you a low mark "  this woman literally shoved it in my face all my hard work was for nothing . " Mr. Steel could you come up and demonstrate ! " this guy walks up to the front and looks at me , I walk back to my seat and put my hands on my face - was I ever going to be good enough ?  I listened to his demonstration , class soon ended and I took my time packing up , I descended the stairs " that was pretty good Athena "  I turn around to see Vincent " thanks I guess you saw all of it ! "  " she's a b*tch don't worry "

I walked to my next class - the place was crowded by guys , they all looked at me and one of them walks towards me " your lecturer isn't here today but you welcome to join us, the campus is hosting this event we  decided to help out . "   " Hey Athena ! "  " hi Johnathan , its alright I have to be somewhere "   "nonsense you can help out ! "  as Johnathan's talking this guy comes and almost knocks him out . I notice he was that guy Mr. Steel - Ms. Liesel Jane called him that  " well its good that you here , introductions please- this guy over here is Tony Lee "  I look at him and he nods " and this guy over here is Marcus Steel"   " nice to meet you guys "   " its a pleasure ! "  Tony says . " I'll see you guys around , would you excuse me ! "  I left before Johnathan could stop me.

I never knew much about Athena all I knew is that she's quite  important to the g**g . My story is as follows : 

I was part of this g**g SKULL is the name- we were doing pretty hectic things one night. This was the night everything changed , I was the driver and the guys messed up on the mission so I stepped in . I reached the warehouse but only to find the guys beaten up - I remember what he first said " you too late for the party ! " I was initially confused but I could hear leadership in his tone. A few weeks later I met him again  and he asked for my name - Marcus Steel. I met the rest of the g**g and it consisted of teenagers but they had skills especially the girls but one of them stood out - Lyla Smith , lets just say the first few times I talked to her but the second time I slept with her - we were 17 at the time by 19 she had to leave to go to Europe , the last time I ever saw her.
