CHAPTER 12 : [ ATHENA'S POV ]

I wake up feeling tired as hell , I look around - how did I get in my room ? I was in the kitchen last night ! I do a few planks and get in the shower- the water poured down all over me  , I tried to remember what happened , I got out of the shower with a towel wrapped around me. I looked through my clothes for an outfit to wear. It was a Sunday - a lazy day for me .

I put on black Adidas leggings with a yellow Saturn star print short sleeve crop top and black lace Adidas sneakers . I put on a  black velvet crystal choker necklace , I applied mascara , eyeliner and I put my hair in a high ponytail , I took my phone, wallet and I left.

I'm walking when I notice how Samantha is insulting Elizabeth Feral , I walk past them and take a bowl out when Denise comes along " I made extra pancakes here you go , its warm ! "  I look at her and take the plate from her " Okay I'm going to leave you seem angry "  I sit down eating the pancakes but every bite tasted bitter because of one person - Samantha  ! she stood there  insulting Elizabeth telling her how weak she is and that she's ugly oh and how she's a s**t . I got up , my plate still in my hand and walked to Samantha " why don't you pick on someone your own size ? " she looks at me and laughs so evilly " you implying that you my size , that's funny - this doesn't concern you Athena! "  " Oh it does ! "  I step closer to her " you insulting her and telling her s**t that isn't true and you ruined my breakfast so it does concern me "  " what you going to do , huh ? "  " how about you back away Samantha or I'll make you . "   " I'm supposed to be scared now !"   I stepped even closer to her " I want you to be frightened , I don't pick fights with brats like you - you not worth it ! "  " Bring it on Athena Brooklyn Arthur ! " she steps closer to me and attempts to smack me but I grab her wrist and twisted it pulling her in front of me . She starts screaming due to the pain "  if you insult her or disturb my breakfast one more time I'll break your arm so don't you even think of doing it again - do we understand each other ?"  " Mrs. Linda is coming "  I look at Denise and let go of Samantha - she falls back and places her other hand on her hurt wrist . All of the girls look at me I take the plate in my hand and throw it against the wall - everyone steps back clearing the way for me.

I just walk out of there , I leave campus and I just run , I ran wherever I wanted - my hair fell loose. I reached Starbucks and went inside , I ordered a milk ice coffee. I looked around for a while and a few guys were looking at me . I took my seat and drank my ice coffee then I get disturbed WHY! I internally screamed . I look at the 3 guys " hey hottie can I join you ? "  a guy with green eyes asks " want to go out tonight ? " a guy with brown eyes asks " can I get your number ? " a guy with grey eyes ask . I stood up slightly moving pass them " I'm sorry I can't ! " I leave Starbucks and just run - I don't know where but I just keep on running . 

                                                                                [ OLIVER'S POV ]

My phone starts ringing : 

" yo man everything alright ? " 

" dude just saw Athena running out of Starbucks , I'm in Starbucks - some dudes approached her and then she just ran out , I'm outside Starbucks I don't know where she went ! " 

" thanks call the others "  

" on it ! "

" Diana I need you on this one ! "  " I'm almost there ! '  " Henry can you trace her phone "  " nope locations off ! "  " Anyone have eyes on her ? "   " she is ghosting us , not a single trace ! "  

" I got eyes on her , she's running through Flower Town "  " good job Diana , follow her ! " " on it Oliver " 

" This girl runs damn fast, is she athletic ?"   " don't lose her Diana , everyone keep an eye out "  "s**t she noticed us "  " what do you mean ? "   " I'm falling out , we going to blow our cover . " 

" Becker you up next , follow her ! "   " on it, she's getting away - s**t she jumped a fence she's good "  "Jason are you in position ? "  " got her she's running through the streets "   " Stella its now or never "  " On it Oliver "   "she took a short cut she's running towards campus "   " Everyone meet up there fast ! "

'' Good job guys ! " everyone turns to look at her entering campus " how did she know ? "  " she's really fast"    "  she never stopped for one minute "  " we need to figure this out ! "   " Or maybe you don't have to!"   we all turn to see William  " William why are you here ? "  " she'll shut you guys up when you least expect it , look at this "  We looked at the video playing " woah that's sick"  " who send you this ? "  

" I did ! "  we look and we see Denise " I know for a while now , don't worry I won't tell "   " Johnathan  deal with this ! "   " its too late to do this , she will find out "
