"Death to the nobles!" they shouted. "Free the prince!" protested others who were more conscientious and loyal. "They have killed a peasant! The foreigners have killed one of us," proclaimed others. "The nobles will be saved..." cried one of the many. "The prince will defend us!" exclaimed a loyal boy loudly. "Shut up fool, it's his fault!" retorted another insulting him. The square quivered and the indecision among the crowd grew. And as the people began to jostle each other and divide into two factions, no one cared that, outside the walls there was an invading army laying siege to the city. Garon looked around. This was not supposed to happen, everything was planned, revolt, discontent were not supposed to exist. The procedures were the same as those transcribed in the archives.
