My eyelids opened slowly as I tried to make sense of where I was.
Sunlight was trying to filter through the drapes but it was weak early morning sunshine, and the glow turned the room to a dark blue.
I closed my eyes again, trying to snuggle my aching head down into the warm pillow I was lying my head on.
