I didn't hesitate, I turned to Trevor and Connor, barking out orders with the precision of a seasoned leader.
“Secure the borders, double the patrols, I want every inch of this territory searched.”
Then I turned to my woman, my expression fierce, knowing I was about to offend her.
“Stay here.”
“Like hell I am, I'm not one of your subordinates that you can issue out commands to.” Honey said, matching my tone.
“Honey please.” I said, my voice softening just enough to catch her off guard.
“I can't focus on protecting the pack if I'm worried about you.”
I could see the hesitation in her eyes, the vulnerability in my voice must be tugging at something within her.
“Fine.” She said reluctantly. “But if you're not back within an hour, I'm coming after you.”
