My blood ran cold, this wasn't just an attack on a single digger, this was an attack on the pack.
I turned to call for honey, but the words caught in my throat as I heard a soft click behind me. I spun around, my eyes locking into the shadowy figure standing in the doorway.
“Don't move.” The figure said. Their voices low and distorted.
Honey stepped into the view behind them, her eyes blazing with fury.
“You're making a big mistake.”
The figure glanced at her, clearly caught off guard. “Stay back, rogue.”
Her lips curled into a smirk. “You really shouldn't have called me that.”
