Now that most of our issues seemed to have been taken care of, it was time to focus on merging the colonies and rebuilding the council. I saw a few long weeks of being cooped up in the conference room again. I really enjoyed spending time with my subjects though. They were all so fun and interesting to talk too. They all seemed so pleased and excited that we joined in with them.
“Want to watch a movie?” Duncan asked. “Maybe some ice cream?”
“That sounds awesome,” I moaned at the thought of snuggling with some chocolate marshmallow swirl ice cream and watching some rom-coms. “I’ll be right back; I’m going to get comfy clothes on!”
