I couldn’t believe the difference in Katya after she changed her clothes. She was always so aggressive and intimidating before but now she seems insecure and shy. She looked down at herself a bit awkwardly but shrugged it off and followed Cleo out the door.
“I’m surprised nobody seems to hate me for the whole spying and trying to steal a book thing,” Katya said after smiling and waving to passersby.
“They know you risked your life for us,” I said. “You helped us with our victory and if the Queen and goddess trusts and believes in you then so will they.”
“They weren’t so accepting of Anthony,” she pointed out.
“Anthony redeemed himself during battle,” Cleo explained. “He helped bring the end with his sword.”
“Who killed Victor?” She asked.
“I did,” I said
