We all looked at the woman on the cot as she began to stir. She groaned as she stretched and looked around herself. She gasped and sat up looking around her cell and then turned to look at us. Cleo yelped when she saw the woman’s eyes; one blue and one brown. The woman smiled sheepishly at her and shrugged, but then glared at Scout and me.
“You bastards hit me with a chair!” she sneered.
