Xander's heart breaks at the sight of his sister's distress. He wanted nothing more than to reach through the screen and hold her, to promise her that he will do everything in his power to bring her home. But all he can do is sit there and stare helplessly at the screen, tears streaming down his face.
"Please," he begs the kidnappers. "Let her go. Come get me instead, she doesn't deserve this."
The kidnapper's expression softens slightly, but he still looked unmoved. Xander knows that he couldn't give up. He had to find a way to save Ketty, no matter what it took. He asked for more time and promised he will find the money and will continue to negotiate.
The kidnapper thought for a moment, then nodded. "I'll give you one more day added to your 48 hours," he said. "One more day to come up with the money. If you don't have it by then, your sister will be gone forever."
The screen goes black, and Xander is left staring at his own reflection. He knows he only have less than 72hours to come up with the money, and he is determined to do whatever it takes to save his sister.
He stands up from his bed, pacing back and forth across the room. He has to think, to come up with a plan. But his mind is foggy and he can't focus.
From the video call, he knew that the kidnappers were ruthless and would not hesitate to harm his sister if he did not comply with their demands. He also knew that going to the police would be pointless, as they had no leads and no idea who the kidnappers were.
After much deliberation, without result, he retires back to his bed. He sits there deep in thought, the room grew darker, and Xander became aware that the sun is set and the night has crept in. His mind was a jumble of thoughts, and he can't focus on any one idea for too long. He turns exhausted, both mentally and physically, but he couldn't bring himself to go to bed. Not until he has come up with a plan to save Ketty..
As the night grew darker, his mind grew more muddled, beginning to feel like he is running out of time. He knows he has to come up with something soon, or it might be too late. He thought about reaching out to friends and family for help, but he didn't want to involve anyone else in the dangerous situation. He thought about going to the police, but he didn't trust them to handle the situation effectively. He thought about contacting the kidnappers again, but feared that it will only put Ketty in more danger.
Sitting in one spot for hours, going over every possibility and potential avenue for her rescue. He thought back to the phone call, trying to remember any details that might help him find Ketty. The kidnappers had been careful not to reveal their location, and their voices had been disguised. They had demanded a large sum of money for her release, but Xander knew that paying them was not an option. He can't trust that they would actually let her go. He feels a sense of hopelessness wash over him, and he wondered if it was already too late to save Ketty. He knows deep in his heart, he won't be able to sleep or rest until he had brought her back home safely. He stands up from his bed, determined not to give up on his sister, He decides to not waste any time and take action. He goes up to the computer and starts researching the possible places the kidnappers could be hiding and the kind of people that would do such a thing. He knew he had to find Ketty and bring her back home, no matter what.
The clock ticked on as Xander continued to ponder and research, his determination never wavering as he works through the night, in the hopes of finding his twin sister Ketty.
As he ponders, also considering his early day at work in the morning, exhaustion finally catches up with him, and Xander falls asleep. But even in his dreams, he can't escape the fear for Ketty's safety. His nightmares, filled with visions of her being hurt, or worse. He wakes up drenched in sweat, feeling more hopeless than ever.

Xander sits in the back seat of the car, staring blankly out the window as Mr. Dum drives him out to get coffee down the street and later to the office.
Driving through the streets of the city, Xander feels a sense of hopelessness wash over him. He has no idea, how he is going to find Ketty, or how he is going to save her. And then, he hears Mr. Dum's voice.
"Sir, are you okay?, Mr Dum chimes in.
Xander smiles immediately as he had already promised himself never to spill out to anyone since everyone looked like a suspect to him. "Offcourse I'm okay."
"But sir, I can see how worried you are. Please, tell me what's going on. You have been so good to me and my family, and I can't stand to see you in so much stress and not be able to help out."
Xander turns to Mr. Dum, and for the first time since the k********g, he feels a glimmer of hope. He knew that Mr. Dum was more than a driver, he was a friend and had connections all over the city, and he might be able to help him find Ketty. He tells Mr. Dum everything, about the phone call and the kidnappers' demands. Mr. Dum listened patiently. As soon as Xander was done, he says, "Don't worry, sir. We'll find Madam Ketty.
"I hope so too." Xander exhales with a tiny relief.
"Sir, I know you're going through a difficult time, but I want you to know that I'm here for you," Mr. Dum said, casting a comforting glance at Xander. "I have a friend who is a private investigator. He's one of the best in the city and I think he can help us find Ketty."
Xander being hesitant at first, but Mr. Dum's words sounding lot convincing than usual. "Alright, let's give it a try," he says, nodding his head.
