The presentation

Friday morning. Sunset to a great day for the company. Xander is happy and eager to seal out the contract after the presentation. As Xander wakes up, he jumps out of bed with a sense of urgency, knowing that he has an important presentation to give at his company today. He quickly brushes his teeth, takes a shower, and dresses up nicely in his favorite suit, which is a blend of his favourite colour blue and black.

As he enters his car and drives off, he receives a call and there it is Susan, calling him. As normal, he is joyful to see her call. Without a moment of delay, he puts on his EarPods. The melody of her voice made his morning, there he was analysing when and how he fell in love with her and all about her. She is now a very significant part of his life. The joy coming from her voice cannot be that of last night; he thinks.

"Good morning sir, how was your night? From your voice composition, you are on your way to work. Do you know what's happening today?"

"What's happening today, dear?" He says, playing dumb even when he knows it's the day of fishing money but not to spoil the fun moment.

"It's the day of fishing money!"

"Wow... So fast?! Thats awesome thought. Thanks for the reminder."

"We have a presentation at work today. Ava is here because she needs to impress the bosses and you by sealing the deal," she mentions to him as she smiles.

"Hmmmm." he exhales. "Ah, I see. Well, you certainly put the part. Just don't forget to bring your notes and tell Ava to practice her speech before she heads into the boardroom," he advises them, with confidence and assurance he has for them.

She is happy she called him this morning. "Thanks for the reminder, boss. I'll do that before the schedule time work. Speaking of which, I better get going now. I don't want to be late with my appointment with her this morning," she says

As she hurries off the phone, before disconnecting his, Says to her, "Good luck, dear! I know you'll do great! You both teacher, or should I say supervisor, and students." He laughs as he disconnects.

When Ava arrives at the office, she is immediately taken by Susan, who seems to be in a rush. Ava realizes that time is of the essence to them today to accomplish a lot before the schedule time to get their expectations. On their way to her office, Ava chimes in. "Good morning Suzy."

Before she could complete her greetings, Susan speaks. "I hope you're ready for your presentation. We have a lot riding on this," Susan says, stretching out to the chair for Ava to sit.

Ava pulls out her presentation document. "Don't worry, love, I've got this," Ava replies confidently, flipping through the pages.

"Good. Now, let's go over the details one more time before you go in front of the board." She says to Ava, drawing near to her.

As they review the presentation documents and slide and Susan does some changes, Ava's heart races with excitement and nervousness. She knows that this is her chance to prove herself and make an impression on herself in the company. Mr Xander can never overlook this impact if it clicks. While the office was tight up busy against the presentation, the entrance into the office by Mr Xander was less noticed as all was up and doing. He sits for hours in the office waiting for the hour patiently.

Finally, it's time for him to go in front of the board. Everyone takes a deep breath and Ava, alongside the senior staff, walks into the room, ready to give the presentation of the day. They all pray for its success, while Xander walks in with the sponsors for the construction deal. Before they enter the boardroom, Susan converses with Ava.

"Okay, Ava, let's go through the document for the presentation one last time before the big meeting starts." She says to Ava to boost her readiness before the time.

"Sounds good to me, Susan. We can't afford to mess this up. Our reputation is on the line. We need this hit for a while now there haven't been a major." Ava happily responds.

"Absolutely. Let's start with the market research. Do you think you have covered all the demographics of the potential customers?" Susan asks Ava to hear her assurance level.

Ava responds. "Yes, I believe I have covered all the age groups and income levels that are most likely to be interested in our services." Ava smiles as the last minute questions has really increased her knowledge.

"Great. Moving on to the financial projections, do you think our estimates are realistic? I think we have been conservative in our projections, which will benefit us. You don't want to over-promise and under-deliver."

Ava smiles as Susan has really been a great hand to her. "That's true. Now let's look at the timeline. We are on track with the construction and hiring process, we have accounted for any delays and contingencies. We are confident we can deliver on time." Ava speaks with a full confidence bar.

"Perfect. Now let's practice the presentation. Ava, you start and I will take over when it's time for the Questioning, anyone you can't answer." Susan compliment Ava.

Few hours later, from the beginning of the presentation, the door opens and everyone exits the board meeting room.

In relieve manner with joy Ava spills out. "That was intense. But I think we nailed it.–"

"I totally agree." Susan nods and smiles. "The investors were impressed with our thorough research and realistic projections. And they loved the concept of building an estate for home for older adults. It's a win-win for everyone. The profit and value are great. Absolutely. And the best part is, we can now make a positive impact on the lives of older adults by providing them with quality care and comfort in their golden years."

Just then as, Mr Xander announce they won the contract so there will be a party but since his birthday is taking place tomorrow, all celebrations will be done there. Ava smiles so firmly, dream come through.
