Erzsebet Feeds

It was still dark, Erzsebet noticed as she flicked her eyes open and looked around the inside of Glen's flat. After sleeping for four hundred years, she was surprised that she needed to rest so much, but she was beginning to feel stronger and felt the urge to rise, so she did. She was still wearing the baby blue pajama suit Glen had given to her after her shower. Erzsebet had loved the shower. To be able to set the temperature to one's precise requirements was a delight. In her time, she would have had maids and servants hurrying to and fro from a large fire that would heat the water before they poured it over her. Sometimes the waits between water gushes were quite prolonged and uncomfortable, even for a vampire. Glen, wearing a white negligee, sitting next to the bed in a rocking chair, had been reading before falling asleep, woke instantly as Erzsebet rose from the bed. "No," Glen screamed, seeing that Erzsebet was about to open the drapes. Erzsebet stared at Glen strangely and then opened them anyway. Erzsebet shrunk back as the light hit her eyes, and she gasped. Wasting no time, Glen leaped from the chair and covered Erzsebet with a blanket. Not sure what was going on, Erzsebet retaliated and lashed out, knocking Glen across the room and into her bookcase, breaking it, and sending books crashing to the floor. Erzsebet tossed the blanket aside and hissed at Glen while the latter groaned in pain. "What are you doing, you stupid girl?" Erzsebet blinked; the sunlight still bothered her but only because her eyes were sensitive to it and not because she was going to melt or turn to ash. Unfortunately for humans, there was no easy way to deal with a vampire. "The sun," Glen groaned, "I thought..." "The internet." Erzsebet sighed as memories of what she had read before falling asleep returned. "I am undead, so sunlight kills me," Erzsebet mocked. "As if a species as perfect as the vampire would be outdone by a little sunlight? Only a fool would believe it, surely?" "I'm guessing that means you're not afraid of garlic either?" Glen asked meekly. Erzsebet stared at her coldly, wondering if she was joking. "It's all on there," Glen pointed at her computer. "Show me how to do it again," Erzsebet demanded. "Do you have something that I can shade my eyes with?" "You could always close the drapes," Glen opened a drawer near the TV and stared at her prized shades. She didn't really want to give them away but relented and pulled them out. "Sunlight is good for the skin," Erzsebet declared, taking the shades from Glen and putting them on. "How glorious." Erzsebet moved her head up and down and from side to side, marveling at the way the shade level changed with every turn. "What a clever invention. European?" "Uhm, yeah, I think so," Glen replied, distracted as she brought up the vampire page on Wiki. "There, it's translated to Hungarian. Mentions garlic." "But I love garlic. Especially when used to season some prime human meat." Erzsebet grinned. Glen shrank away. The vampire blood had worn off, and she didn't feel as safe as she had earlier. "You don't have to worry, girl. I never take more than I need." Erzsebet raised the glasses to meet Glen's eye. "From those closest to me, anyway." "You're going to want some of my blood?" Glen stammered. "The whole daylight thing," Erzsebet continued, ignoring her, "During the night, when humans cannot see a thing, we vampires see everything just as you do during the day. Naturally, during the day, a vampire's eyes are a little sensitive. OK, very sensitive. So that's where this myth comes from. Vampires need sunlight. It regenerates us, just as it does with all life on this planet." "My blood?" Glen reiterated. "You said something about taking only what you need?" Erzsebet stopped reading the Wiki page and turned to her. "Don't be afraid. It is done with gentleness and with love." "Love?" Glen was totally confused. "When we make love. That is when it will happen. It will be pleasurable for you." "When we make love?" Glen couldn't keep the utter surprise from her voice. "Isn't that your fantasy? We made love a lot in your dreams." Erzsebet stood and held out her hand. "You are mine now, child, and I shall take care of you." Erzsebet's presence was so powerful, Glen found herself taking her hand and being led to the bed. "And what of the others?" Glen asked, wanting to know what Erzsebet meant when defining a difference between those close to her and those not. "Don't trifle yourself with others, child," Erzsebet soothed, brushing Glen's ginger curls away from her face. "We are all that matters now." Erzsebet kissed Glen's mouth, and she responded in kind. The kiss quickly turned passionate, and they fell onto the bed. "Let me show you," Erzsebet whispered and then lifted Glen's negligee up and over her head, revealing her slim, pale naked body. "I'm..." Glen wanted to tell her that she had got her period, but Erzsebet silenced her with a hissed shush. "I know. This is how it is done." Erzsebet imparted before placing her head between Glen's legs and removed the sanitary towel. Erzsebet stared at it with disgust. "Such a waste." Erzsebet discarded it, moved between Glen's legs, and then pleasured her. Some half an hour later, Erzsebet was done, and so was Glen. Glen lay on the bed, staring up at the ceiling, the pleasure Erzsebet had provided still rocking her world. "Never use those disgusting things again," Erzsebet demanded, indicating the sanitary towel. "Is that it?" Glen gasped, still riding the waves of pleasure, "Is that all you take?" "Of course," Erzsebet said, surprised that Glen had thought otherwise. "I would have to hurt you to take blood from elsewhere, and I would never want to do that. Especially not when as sweet as yours. You're a virgin." "I don't like boys... at least, not like that." Glen imparted. "Human males are filthy creatures." Erzsebet donned the sunglasses and moved to the window, watching the meanderings of the citizens below. "Even their blood is tainted. It has a bitterness to it that I've never particularly enjoyed. I've found it tastes better when they are terrified and in pain." Erzsebet turned to Glen and smiled, expecting her to understand, but Glen was scrunched up on the bed, holding her knees, looking very afraid. "Don't force me to constantly reassure you, child. It is very unbecoming, and unbecoming is not attractive to me at all." Erzsebet turned back to the window. She far rather not have to kill Glen right away. "Will you have to feed?" Glen asked, trying to keep the stammer from her voice. "Aside from me, I mean?" "Of course," Erzsebet stated matter-of-factly, keeping her gaze firmly on the people below. "It has been such a long time since I've gorged on human blood. Perhaps tonight. Yes," Erzsebet turned from the window and grinned at Glen, revealing her oversized incisors. "I shall feed tonight."
