I keep yawning as my grandmother smiles at me, hugs me, and pushes me to the Stairs. Getting the hint, I head upstairs to my room. I walk in and plop on the bed. I cannot help but smile at how comfy this bed is. I start to fall asleep when I hear a tapping on my window. There no way that someone could climb this high and be able to hold on and tab. It must be that old tree branch on the side of the house. I shrug it off and turn on my side. Not caring that I am still in my clothes, I do not feel like changing as my eyes get droopy. I lay there falling sleep as I listen to my grandfather and grandmother talking. I smile and turn on my side falling into a deep sleep.
(Nightmare)
I am only three and I am standing on the side of the road as I see this woman. She gets into this car and leaves me, as she leaves, I slowly start to walk to my aunt’s house. I do not know the way really, but I must follow what that woman says. She seemed to care about me. That must have been my mother. As I walk down the long driveaway, the tall trees cover the path, causing the darkness to get worst. As I get closer, I see my aunt with her arms held out for me to run into. I will feel safe. It feels weird, as I see my aunt smile and reaching but it like she not able to leave the entrance of the house. I start trying to make my little legs go, as I feel as if they genuinely want me.
(Flashes to when I was fifteen)
I hear my aunt screaming as my uncle brings his hand back and slaps me across the face, causing me to drop my aunt’s vase. An ear-piercing scream rings out through the house as my aunt start crying. “You… You broke it. I took care of you and loved you, but you break the vase, that not only did my sister, but also your mother gave me. That was the last thing that I had of her.” She screams at me. As I look away from her. The tears start to form I cannot help but run from the woman that I thought cared and loved me or was it all a sick, sick game to her. I turn on my heels and run for the door. I hear my uncle screaming at my aunt to go after me.
I hear the faint voice of my aunt saying that she should not have went off on me. I am heading for the road as I hear wolves howl deep into the pitch-dark forest. The owls flying above me as I run. I run faster as the rocks dig into my bare feet, causing me to flinch but I keep going that I cannot let them catch me not after that. I can hear my aunt screaming for me to stop. My uncle chasing after her. The look of death is strung across his face.
I get the road as images of when I was three passes through my eyes. I hear a honking and my aunt screaming bloody murder as my uncle rolls his eyes. I turn to see who is honking and look and see two bright lights. I turn to run back when I hear a screeching noise, and everything goes black. I hear talking, yelling and someone blaming a woman who was not paying attention. My uncle trying to get my aunt to leave to go back to the house and let them deal with me. I start to slip into the darkness. Every sound around me fades as I finally feel free form the nightmare of my life…. BEEP, BEEP, BEEEEP.
(Nightmare ends.)
