Felix drives the bus into the lot for "The Beehives" attractions and finds an over-sized parking space beside a cargo van. Most of the passengers exit and begin exploring the numerous heaps of hill-sized coral and bright red sandstone formations decorating the desert valley.
"Fionn, your face is getting way too much sun," Malana says to him while he is about to exit the bus. "Please come here and let me apply sunscreen before it gets any worse."
Malana holds up a small mirror and shows Fionn the grisly burns on his forehead, nose, and cheeks.
"Roman, go on ahead," Fionn says to him. "I will find you."
"Okay, look for me on the top of the first formation," Roman says, pointing out the window toward the sandstone bluff closest to the bus as he exits the down the steps.
