Upon taking their boarding pass-style admission tickets, she bows and shakes their hands in gratitude for supporting the charity and animal rescue work.
The baseball diamond, adjacent to the train museum in Boulder City, southeast of Las Vegas, prospers with luminous color and festive bustle in the afternoon sunshine. At the first base plate, a lemonade stand serves cups from bubbling containers with ginger, orange, raspberry, and strawberry flavors. A variety of cookies topped with frosting or sprinkles in the iconic "railroad crossing" X-shape await visitors at second base.
