Floodlights and spotlights surge across the desert floor and illuminate the beehive rock formations from two different angles. Almost an hour ago, the ranger and her deputy arrived seconds after a camper van, arranged by Felix's transportation company, zoomed into the parking lot to collect the group members left behind. They angled their park vehicles so that the entire natural attraction and surrounding area could be beamed.
There is exhausted silence in the camper van. Fionn and Malana are at the back and Alejandra and Diego are in the middle seats by a miniature dining room table. Nils boards the van and takes the empty seat up front beside Pari.
