“What are you doing?” I asked wearily.
“I’m sorry, River. All of this is my fault. I was in a terrible place when I met you. I thought having you would fix me. When I felt like you were rejecting me, I went in search of someone who would make me feel wanted.” He said as he stared at the ground in shame.
“I had come to talk to you and tell you how I was feeling. I wanted to let you know that I did want you. That I was just scared, but you were already balls deep in an omega.” I spat as hot tears burned down my cheeks. The familiar pain of the memory burned deeply in my chest.
