The Appalachian pack was truly a sight to behold. The sound of children’s laughter filled the air as they chased one another through the streets. Older wolves were sitting on their porches or working in their gardens. As I looked closer, I was shocked to find that not all the residents were wolves. I wasn’t sure what they were, but they didn’t smell like wolves. As the pack house came into view the sound of skirmishes in the near distance could be heard, indicating training going on.
