“She couldn't have asked you that.” Bruce said to his wife, refusing to believe what she had just told him.
“I'm telling you she did. She was asking too many questions about Lilian.” Rachel insisted.
“What use is the information to her?” Bruce asked, voicing out his thoughts.
Rachel, who had not realized that her husband was only thinking out the question in his mind, responded. “I don't know.”
