“Tonight’s the concert,” Sarah said for what felt like a millionth time. They were sitting in Paige’s room, both busy on their phones.
Paige was monitoring one of her sponsored posts—which was something Tamara had started helping her out with. They were doing well and although the pay wasn’t huge right now, it definitely did help.
“Hey, thanks for being a nice sister and not rubbing it in,” Paige said, smiling a little too sweetly.
Sarah laughed. “I know the situation isn’t ideal, but remember when you said there’s a chance of us bumping into him?”
Paige just shrugged, the lie too sweet to be true.
She opened a message she’d just received from Daniel.
Daniel: Bad For You’s performing in your city tonight, isn’t it?
Universe had a mean sense of humour.
Sophie: Oh yeah.
