Skye’s POV Before Ivy could say a single word, Ezra’s voice cut in, sounding so cold and sharp. “Leave the coffee and go, Ivy.” She walked into the suite and set the tray down hard on the side table. Coffee spilled over the edge and dripped onto the wood. She didn’t clean it. She just walked away without looking back once, her shoulders stiff. Ezra pulled me back inside by the wrist and shut the door. He leaned against it for a second, jaw clenched tight, eyes dark. “She’s worked for me for years,” he said. “She knows too much already because she sees everything that happens in this house. We have to be careful from now on. No more risks like last night.” I nodded, still feeling the heat of his hands on my skin from the shower. My body didn’t want to be careful. It wanted more of him
