A brisk knock on his office door announced Sean’s arrival and startled Roman from his thoughts. Roman sighed and braced himself, mentally preparing for the inevitable. The tall man waltzed in as though he were walking into his personal domain, taking one of the plush chairs reserved for guests and dropping into it with careless ease. Roman scowled at him from the corner of his eyes, his frustration bubbling to the surface. He couldn’t bring himself to look up from the document in front of him.
